It's Always Dark This Time Of Year...

...Yet my spirit is still bright! What is up with this weather and seemingly constant darkness? Every year I always say to myself, "I don't remember it getting this dark this early last year?" Maybe I say that to cheer myself up but I'm not sure. I guess the bad things about winter are easy to forget.

I always struggle with motivation to exercise this time of year. There are so many excuses and I could take the time to list them out but I've decided not too. I need to remain positive. I have been walking on my treadmill at home about 2-3 days per week and doing weights 1-2 days at the gym. It's all I've been able to do since I just haven't felt very well lately.

Anyhow, I hope everyone is still running strong and not letting the crazy holidays and bad economy get in the way. This is truly a wonderful time of year to celebrate life, family, friends, our new president, and the small blessings God has given us.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Not giving up, though.

Been trying to get back into it.
Did something crazy, and signed up on the nike plus website to train twenty eight weeks for a marathon.
It's beyond me at the moment.
Gonna take some time getting back into where I was two years ago.
My all time best was 5mph for an hour non-stop, but I think I was really stressed back then, and now I'm so much more relaxed and happy. Dangit!
:) No plans to do a marathon. Just curious to see if I can come close.
Hell, even a half would be cool.

How you doing?
Still keeping at it?
